As the title says, a friend of mine and I are seeking players in the Cape Coral/Lee County, FL area for D&D 3.5 and possibly other games on occasion. Reply to this thread if you might be interested.

We're both open as far as types of games we'd be into (both system and type of game. Past games include good aligned party, save the world type games, questionable moral value games, and kingdom building/political games.
System wise we've played D&D 3.5, Spycraft, and Shadowrun.

What type of game would the both of you be interested in?

I am pretty much good with anything, though I like a more light hearted playing environment (Example, friend of mine was playing a ranger, he rolled a 1 when trying to identify a beast another character described to him. He quizzically looked at them and said, "You say it had four legs?"). As far as systems go, I have played D&D 3.5, D20 Modern, DC Heros, and Vampire. I also like tinkering with rules and making my own.

My wife generally likes over the top fantasy settings. Character creation with her is usually an exercise in me explaining to her why she can't have a Griffon, Dragon, Nightmare, Pegasus, or some other Higher powered animal companion or mount at level one. She also is a big fan of lots of action, so political games with her... not so much, but save the world or pillage and destroy, she is happy with.

Are you looking for someone to run a game or play, or both?

To answer your question, we're definitely looking for players, although both of us would have no problem with one or both of you running.

I think your wife might like things as my friend isn't philsophically opposed to high powered characters. In fact one of his current ideas is an all undead campaign based on Libris Mortis.

We aren't really hardcore roleplayers in terms of style, but we're both looking for a regular (committed, for lack of a better word) game schedule.

If you'd like, shoot me an e-mail with your info and we can try and get together on a Saturday (my friend's finishing up his Engineering degree, so that works best for him, though he can be flexible if need be.)
