[Semi-OT] Morrowind

Morrowind is a GREAT game, and those system reqs easily pass them. my comps worse than yours, and it runs fine
i just wish that they will release multiplayer for it... it would be the perfect game for online play

My computer is dead, and I'm stuck using a piece of crap. Does anyone have info on the x-box version coming out. Is it a lamed down version, very similar, or what. I actually like controlers over keyboards so I'm happy there, but I'm frequently let down with platform rpgs.

The X-Box version will be almost identical to the PC version. The only thing that it will not have is the editor.

Of course, being a console game, you can also expect lower resolution when compared to the PC version.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp I'm glad to hear that my computer specs should handle Morrowind okay... so now I guess there's no reason for me not to buy the game. ;)

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Out of curiosity: is there a patch available for the game yet (just wondering)?

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp That's good to hear that they're working on a patch - I've heard that most of the game's bugs are pretty minor, but I guess it would be nice to get rid of those bugs as well. :)

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp I agree that it would be cool to add a multiplayer option to the game so my friends can join me in the quests - however, I guess there would be no point in turning Morrowind into a MMPRPG(sp?) since that would just make it another EverQuest... wouldn't it?

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Will Jeremy Soule be doing the music for Neverwinter Nights as well? And if so, will the NN Collector's Edition include a Soundtrack Music CD with it like the Morrowind Collector's Edition does? :)

Multiplayer is, unfortunately, not an option. The game was designed from the beginning to be single-player only. The program logic is based on the assumption that there is one PC. Adding multiplayer would mean remaking half of the game and would take months of development.

Yes.

At this stage, it doesn't look like there's going to be a Collector's Edition for NWN.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Although unfortunate, that's understandable. Besides, there are advantages to this game being single-player only, after all. :)
