Plus, he'll never expect it if we keep the thread title as it is. We can have the klingons come by, arrest him, and then take him away out of the convention.
Well, maybe that's a bit too much, but there could be a group of guys waiting at the jail to pick Jake up and take him the rest of the way.
I personally thought the whole "Jail" thing was ridiculous last year, and I'd raise hell if anyone tried to put me there when I paid good money to come meet friends and play games.
Third that... I haven't been to GenCon and won't be this year either, but if I was at a convention and someone tried to 'arrest' me, they would get a firm "Sorry, I didn't sign up for that game." Any attempt to enforce that through physical means, and things could get very ugly, very quickly. Maybe I'm a spoilsport, no fun, whatever, such lables bother me not. There are a hundred and one better ways to raise money for charity.
Don't be so hard on the jail thing. Klingon Jail 'n' Bail is only used for people who want to do it. True, once I inadvertently 'arrested' my cousin when he was in a demo of a game, but I honestly thought he was just shopping at the booth. If he'd said anything, the Klingons would've let him go.
It's just for fun. Some people are amused by the idea of being arrested by Klingons, and will pay money to experience that.
