[September] What are you watching?

Aside from the premiere of Enterprise I've picked up a number of DVDs to help me escape from the world in those moments when I find it most necessary. The first of those that I have had the chance to watch is Reign of Fire. I'll mention the others as I have the opportunity to view them.

I found Reign of Fire to be a fun action movie. Very enjoyable special effects and the plot, while fairly straight-forward, didn't strain credibility, IMO. The ending seemed to come rather abruptly but I would watch it again just to marvel at the dragons.

I've been watching a number of things, thanks to Netflix.

The entire first Black Adder series.
The first 'Thunderbirds' DVD
Aura Battler Dunbine: Vol. 1 (didn't care for it too much; didn't even finish the third episode)

Also: Picked up Angel: Season 2, BulletProof Monk and the Neverwhere mini-series.

Well... I missed the Enterprise premiere, but I'm not sure I'm going to watch it this season anyway.

I just splurged at Future Shop yesterday and bought three DVDs: the Superbit edition of Lawrence of Arabia, the Special Edition of El Mariachi, and Sammo Hung's Magnificent Butcher.

If I run out of stuff to watch, I might bring out Farscape Season 1 again. :)

Right now watching new episodes of Enterprise and X-Men: Evolution when I can get my hands on them. Once they start to arrive from netflix I will be watching Angel Season 2.
