Serenity Now/Equality Now screenings

I was just wondering if anybody on the boards was going to any of the screenings of Serenity that are going on June 22, 23, and 24. I'm going to the one in Albany, NY on the 23. It's to raise money for charity. I'm half asleep now, so my memory of the details is bad, but the website to go to for info is www.cantstoptheserenity.com. I'm not really trying to advertise this, although I think it's a cool thing, but just find out if other Enworlders are going and if I might run into any in Albany.

I was originally planning on trying to get to one in Boston, but the timing has ended up wrong, so I can't.

I will go to the Vancouver one, as it will be my first chance to see it on the BIG screen (as opposed to my computer monitor).

I saw it twice in the theater already, once a preview showing, and own it; so I have no real desire to go again.

I highly suspect at least one person from my gaming group will go though, but then one of the games is a Firefly game so it only stands to reason.

You suspect correctly. orchid blossom and I will be going to the Albany showing with some nonEnworld friends. We've seen it in theatres 4 or 5 times already and own it, but it is a charity event and one more chance to see it on the big screen.

Oh, well I'll be the chick in the black Amy Brown fairy tee. I never got to see Serenity in the theaters, but I have seen the DVD 3-4 times. I haven't been to a movie in years, so I'm treating myself. Plus, we're (my mom & I) are going to my Aunt & Uncle's in the Catskills for the whole weekend, and so I get to see my kittie (she's staying with them untull I get a place of my own, because dad's allergic and the dog hates cats). So, I'm really looking forward to next weekend.

I see there is a showing at San Francisco, too bad. I haven't ventured into the city since they realigned the lanes a couple weeks ago. That'll have to be an adventure for another day.

It's a squarish red basket she's in and she's looking through one of the handles. I just like how her eyes are so centered in the opening and her little ears just peek over the top. It's like some one set it up, but no... that's just my cat for ya.
