The Forgotten Realms Atlas has a detailed map of the region, but that's about it.

Honestly, I've already e-mailed Wizards to petition for an SK map web enhancement. You should do the same!

What product details this region? Is there one besides the 2ed Chult sourcebook?

No product details this region, until SK (which is why I was so excited about it). Finally! Details on Lapaliiya, Thindol, Sammarach, and The Tashalar? About bloody time!

The poster maps that I have include: part of the Empires of the Shining Sea map (gets the northeastern portion of Lapaliiya, up to the ruins of Lhesper, IIRC), the 2e Chult accessory that you mentioned (western section of the SK region), and FR16 The Shining South (eastern section of the SK region). I also have printouts creating a poster map from the FR Interactive Atlas CD-ROM (the standard 1" = 30 miles) to get the rest of the Chultan peninsula.

The teeny-tiny 8.5 x 11 map (with a huge scale) found in a hardcover like SK wouldn't have been as valuable to me - but it still would have been helpful as a quick reference, for sure.

Try finding the Forgotten Realms Trail Map. I'm pretty sure all of those areas are on it. If I remember right it covers all of the continent except the Al-Qadim area.
