OK, the shades spell does 60% at worst of a conjuration spell.

Leomunds secret chest? 60% weight and duration?

Tatoo spell? what about this? It is conjuration too.

I would rule the Leomund's secret chest to have 60% normal capacity (0.6 cubic feet per caster level). By all accounts, a shadow conjuration, and therefore shades has the full duration of the mimicked spell.

As for this "tattoo spell", perhaps you could explain a little? The only similar spell I can think of is tattoo item from Relics & Rituals, which is a Transmutation, not a Conjuration.
