Shadow Blend

Shadow Blend (Su): In any conditions other than full daylight, a 7th-level Dark Moon Disciple can disappear into the shadows, gaining total concealment.
Artificial light does not negate this ability, though a daylight spell does.
This benefit replaces the wholeness of body class feature that the standard monk gains at 7th level.

So someone that has this ability can consider themselves in total concealment whenever they're not in direct sunlight? So if they're in the shade during the daytime outside they can have total concealment?

What about Darkvision, lowlight, and blindsense? What is able to see someone in this condition of total concealment? This thing seems ridiculous.

Much like the question of how a Shadowdancer can hide in the shadows from someone with darkvision.

RAW yes, to your question. Unless Blindsense is the one that allows you to pinpoint someone.

How to counter this...

1-Blindsight-(you see him clearly)

2-Blindsence -(pinpoint)

3-Tremorsence-(pinpoint)

4-Scent- (scent direction in 30'. Pinpoint when in adjacent block. ...I think... I don't remember scent by heart...)

5-Antimagic Field (It's an Su after all...)

6-Faerie Fire (1st Lvl Druid spell-No concealment, you see his outline)

7-Light spells (you can see the emanating light, but not the light source-pinpoint(?)...)

8-Magicsence-(pinpoint)

9-There is some Psionic ability... Mindsight or Mindsence...don't remember ....

Perhaps there something else as well.... That all that springs to mind...

I think you're confused because Scent is with the nose, not the heart.
The heart is for Love, and Love can conquer concealment, deeper darkness, blindness... anything at all!
