Shadowrun D20

I am in the mood to mix things up and I have been digging back in my game rack and pulled out some very old 1e Shadow run stuff.

Can the wisened community here point me in the direction of some D20 conversions for Shadowrun??

Been a while since we had one of these threads.
Yes, indeed.

We had some threads on it, but most didn't go far. I think, no one really made it till the end.
Our group has tried 2 Shadowrun Conversions, and I think the second incarnation (based on D20 Modern) might still be around in a Wiki (found the link: http://wiki.cloneworks.de/index.php?n=SRD20RPG.SRD20RPG)

I think the site is mostly dormant at the moment, but feel free to poke around.

After having played Shadowrun 4.0, I don't feel a real need to make D20 adaption any more, since the real issues of the system have been solved. :-) (except maybe for the initiative rules)

Which aspects of Shadowrun are you hoping to emulate in d20?

d20 Modern+Future+Cyberspace has most of what you'll need. Alternatively, although it's a steampunk RPG, Etherscope has a lot in common with Shadowrun (and a nice cyberspace--err, etherspace--system of its own) and could easily be adapted.

You could check out Spycraft 2.0 as well but as Mustrum said, the easiest way to play Shadowrun is SR4. Any d20 conversion is going to be a lot of work with not much return on that time investment.

Yah...I can't really see the point.

If I absolutely had to do SR in d20, I'd probably use a mishmash of Spycraft and as much of d20 Modern as I could stomach.

Once FantasyCraft comes out (which has no release date yet), you'll pretty much have all the elements you need for shadowcraft. You'd need to jazz up the gear system to look more like a cyberware system, but other than that, it's mostly there.
