[Sovereign] looks around to the others "No one known anything about explosives? Might help cut back on the digging..."
The troll shrugs. "I would, but," - white lightning zzaps across the fingers of his hand - "this tends to happen 'round me."

[sblock=Actions]When he's got time on the van, Ntensity will move all nuyen from the run (show-up fee and advance) out of his secure account and into one his electronic will can access. And thank the f*ck Raven Basilisk helped set that up for him last year.

At least that money'll be useful to somebody.

(Usual money-transfer protocols, please.)[/sblock]

Juno nods and picks up the duffel bags to haul them over to the van without further comment.

She shakes her head at the conversation as well. "No engineer experience here. Wasn't my thing."

Then the 'samurai' looks back at her motorcycle and frowns. "Gonna have to try to fit that into the van, I think. That or I can meet you at the sewer entrance."

The team throw the bags back into the beat up van with Diggs getting behind the wheel. Juno figures she might as well just follow behind. Her bike is a bit too big to squeeze into the back of the van, especially if there was going to be a troll back there.

Traffic is fairly light this time of night and the days heat seems to have made the various street and highway go-gangs reluctant to cruise the roads... at least this early. Just over an hour later the van and bike pull into an old parking lot. Most of the building look abandoned but there are a number of dumpster fires burning on the block and a few shadowy figures sulking about in the darkness.

Knowing where to look the team figures they are in the Spikes street gang territory. They are an all-troll gang (although a few orks are also members). They are not particularly race-centered as other gangs but they have a reputation as not being friendly with elves (they have a long standing rivalry with the Ancients, an elf go-gang).

Anyone looking shows a number of sewer entrances overlaid on your AR when tied with the map that the Mr. Johnson provided.

Davos crouches in the back of the van, remaining perfectly balanced no matter how it bounces or swerves. He looks at the map on his comlink. "Many entrances. Which would be best?"

"You take 'em, Sov," concludes the troll. "You should be in-the back of any action anyways, right?"

To Davos' query: "Roll a die?" suggests the troll, straight-faced. "OR... maybe sm'body you just met could astral scout."

He repeat-points to his own considerable chest with a raised brow and a developing grin...

(...)

Once they're fully stopped (and assuming nobody objects), Ntensity clambers into the back and lowers himself to the floor with a grunt -- into a lotus position, of all things.

Click-click through his cheap headphones, "Somebody should find the spiky we's got to grease to still have our van when we get back." He shrugs. "Just saying."

One last push and - aahhh - Just DEserts by Obscurity (best Shadows cover band ever) starts blasting in his ears. Can't beat the classics. Over the course of the next sixty seconds his head slowly drops onto his chest... And then...

Nothing.

A sleeping troll.

[Sblock=Astral]Ntensity opens his 'eyes' to the glory of the Astral. The van is but a shadow of itself, but the people within litterally *glow* with pulsating meaning.

NTensity laughs: 'You might die today chummer, but Thunderbird is it GOOD to be home!'

Actions: Quick sit-rep through the roof of the van, just in case, and then dive through the nearest manhole cover -> recon mission to their blast-in point, please GK[/sblock]
Nobody wants to take a stab at this? (Juno too, via commlink (I'm going to assume we all shared our comm numbers with each other?)
On the way, while adjusting the straps on his gas mask and keeping an eye on the speeding city-scape on the other side of the windshield... "So, whatdaya guys think?"

Earlier to the troll the dwarf decker shrugged his shoulder but put the explosives and demotion kit in his backpack "Just hopping I don't get hit by any fireballs" he mutters.

At the parking lot NTensity's body goes slack as his spirit leaves his body. Flying quickly upward and down through the manhole cover he slips down into the sewers. His senses show him a corrective like aura in the area. Its not enough to affect anything really on the astral plane and probably caused from years of pollution pouring through the storm drains. He spotted numerous small pin points of life scurrying about and around the floating garbage piles. He just hope they were not any devil rats or ghouls down here but at least in the around around the manhole cover there were no signs of any.

The troll had not yet returned when Davos and Juno had spotted a couple of teenage trolls (as neither is much over 7 feet tall) sulking around a building corner about 30ft away from the back of the van. They don't appear to be armed but they appear to be wearing gang signs...

OOC: He'll go all the way to the point where we're supposed to blast into the facility (point B on the map).

If you want an itinerary: straight on, right at the 5-way, top, right, left, right, right please.

Getting back: down, right, right at the end, left, left all the way down, right into the angled passageways. Give us a more complete view of the place.

GM: I will edit that NTensity is not back when the two spot the teenage gangers. Go ahead and make a Perception check for NTensity...
[sblock=DC 10]Nothing really much out of the way. There is a lot of pollution down in the drains obviously as it is spilling over into astral space and making the area ooze with it. You also don't see anything but a few mundane living creatures, nothing bigger then a large rat, in the whole of the tunnels. The facility is surrounded by some sort of ward that you can't move through[/sblock]
[sblock=DC 15]The pollution down here is bad as it is spilling over into the astral plane. You are pretty happy that they make chem suits in troll sizes. There are a lot of rat size mundane animals but you think you also saw something bigger farther back in the tunnels. You did not get a good look at it and it did not seem to be really hiding from you so much as hiding and moving around. The facility is protected by a living wall. Probably some sort of bio mass fungi living in between the layers of the security wall.[/sblock]

There are a lot of rat size mundane animals but you also saw something bigger farther back in the tunnels. Its two or three mundane metahumans, probably orks. They seem to be moving about down in the tunnels but they are not moving this way or appear to be watching out for anyone. More like they are searching through the trash and such. The facility is protected by a living wall. Probably some sort of bio mass fungi living in between the layers of the security wall.[/sblock]
