Published Adventure: Harlequin's series. Loved that campaign
Favorite Archtype: Physical Adept
Nastiest Character: 2E Mage, focused on Transformation magic
But.. then I started playing CP2020
Shadowrun is a cool setting, with some very neat rule systems. The problem was that the 3 rules systems {Street, Mythic, and Net} did not mesh at all.
Still, I had some very memorable games and truely memorable characters.. one of which has since crossed boundries into CP2020, Twilight 2000, Aliens, WEG Star Wars, and most recently into a Champions game.
On the flip side, I will never forget the game at GenCon, LA back in 1995ish. Soured me on Con's in general.. I would have to say it was the worst possible game to walk into.
{Short story is: the only players at the table who were not regulars at the GM's game were myself and my buddy. GM's significant other was playing...and ended up receiving bonus character points at the end due to, and I quote "Morale and Ethical play". I guess I missed the Ethics lesson where a hired contractor lies to thier employer and skips town to avoid the repercussions..with the cash. Not to mention the part in the SR rules where it talks about a SANless edgerunner who works outside of the law is supposed to maintains a palidonish moral high ground... Anyway, I digress}
