First Post
Well, Ive decided to make myself a little place to use for the prurose of introducing ideas to the public. Who am I? I am simply a creator...I cannot stop creating things for this game, ever since I started it has lain hold of me like some form of disease, lol. I dont get much of a chance to play or anything but I am driven to create...probably why I cannot seem to stop myself from buying the books and all (I always question myself: "Why...why are you buying this if you dont play?", lol). The curse has lain hold of me, lol. Its all good. Anyways, thats my story and heres my thread. Ill be posting various things here whenever I come across them in my room, lol...ranging from Monsters (Epic/Non-epic), Gods (Godminds etc), Items, Weapons, Stories, NPCs basically anything I come across or come up with. Consider this thread like an interactive notebook, lol. Feel free to comment on things as they come up and all, any suggestions and ideas of your own would be welcome as well. Just so you know, I like Epic Levels and I also like Psionics so you will most likely see things from those categories within this thread. Thanks.

Technically its not my fault...as I tried to post it the site went all wonky on me and messed it up. I actually thought this thread didnt make it up because of it really. If I triple posted it or whatever, it was not on purpose...just to let you know why this happened, lol. Hopefully thats all cleared up now and hey, the thread actually came through and I wont have to write this bit again on the flipside of things, lol. Thanks.

Might as well bring the only thread not "marked for death" back into focus with some information...sort of a teaser to whet the appetites of any who might be looking forward to some of this stuff. I will start writing the stuff down once I go through it again and refamiliarize myself with these past ideas.

First thing I want to put up is a simple on, basically a set of major artifacts...the Hellraiser Swords (only two in existance at this time), and the Blades of the Abyss (only four of these in existance). A little information on each to get things going now. The Hellraiser Swords are two huge great swords made of heavy black iron crusted in red (obviously blood). They were two specially crafted swords made by an ancient Demon Lord named J'aalek. Early on, J'aalek rose to power in the Abyss through his raw power, fearful bloodlust, and fearless vigilance. It wasn't until later that J'aalek fell to a fight with the celestials. Controlling a large portion of the Abyss, he had a vision of perverting all of the heavens and thus began a war with the celestials. In the end, he failed as the demon hordes were disorganized in comparison with the tactical order of the celestials. He did not die but was rather sealed away in a makeshift dimensional prison. There is his prison he awaited thousands of years until an unwary member of the Prophets of Azaroth freed him and now worship him as their God. The Hellraiser Swords were created by him during the time of the war he waged on the heavens, crafted by his hand to slay. The blades became crusted and stained with blood from the numerous victims that fell to its heavy blade. The blades were not simply massive swords though, oh no, they are rumored to have special powers that actually weaken a victim with each successful strike, slowly disabling the victim and making it harder and harder to escape death. One blade resides with J'aalek, but the other was stolen by the fleeing demon hordes and eventually given to one of the other Demon Lords as a gift...though it hasn't seen battle for ages now. The Blades of the Abyss were medium sized longswords crafted by J'aalek and given to his two personal body guards which were known as the Shadow Guards. Each of them had a set of these swords which were also imbued with some form of power allowing negative energy to flow through the blades. One of the Shadow Guards had died during the war though so a pair of the blades does exist but are not in any use.

Theres a little bit on those artifacts for you...just some history and all to get things started on those. Moving on and last thing for this post will be a little introduction to a being known as Xarn...and the unfortunate thing that happened and the Xarn Consciousness.

Xarn was a God in the beginning of his story. A Chaotic Evil master of chaos, destruction, evil, war, and strength. All was as fine as it could be (of course, there is always something going on in a pantheon, lol) until Xarn discovered a well hidden secret, a power that could potentially allow him to rise above his fellow Immortals...through killing them and drawing power from their deaths. AT first Xarn tried this power on mortal beings, enjoying the effects of this new found secret power and soon enough he set his sights on his collegues. If he could steal the slain essence of a mortal, why not that of a God? Driven by his thirst for even more power he killed a God and successfully fed on the slain essence, growing far stronger. Things had gotten serious...here was this Chaotic Evil crazy psychopathic God who just found he can kill beings and draw power from their deaths and he was about to go on a rampage. This simply could not be so the Gods...of nearly all types had to come together in these dire times (all except for the Chaotic Evils...they didnt seem to care much) and deal with the problem...Xarn. Instead of Xarn facing one of them alone, he had to immediately face them all as they pummeled him in a ferocious battle, utterly destroying him. The only problem is, he is a God like them and is immortal so something else had to be done. The most powerful of the Gods devised a plan to rid them of this threat. Firstly, as he was temporarily slain the greater Gods cursed him and destroyed his physical form. Secondly, they banished his mental consciousness to the Prime Material Plane...to float invisibly forever, unable to harm anyone or anything. All went as planned...even the few things the evil ones placed into the happening. No evil God in their right mind was going to give up this golden opportunity...so they slipped in a few additional conditions of their own while the banishing process occured. Every hundred years, the mental Xarn Consciousness would be "reborn" into an individual on the Prime Material Plane. Any living, breathing creature/race could be granted the Xarn Consciousness at that moment every one hundred years. The reason it was added was the dark Gods thought they might be able to control this Xarn Consciousness and make it work for them on the Prime Material Plane. Unfortunately, that didnt happen as they planned it when the first Incarnation of the Xarn Consciousness came about. Instead, the being found its ability to fed off the slain essences of beings and it would begin that dark and horrid path once more. With the first incarnation a glitch was also noticed by the Gods...something they had forgotten. Though the Xarn Consciousness in a body could be killed...the mental aspect could not, thus every time the Xarn Consciousness was incarnated again it came back with an ever growing mental aspect, thus getting smarter, wiser, and more influenctial with each incarnation. The body could be destroyed, but not the consciousness.

Anyways, thats an introduction to the Xarn Consciousness which makes for a great campaign. Im done for today so enjoy the teasers. Thanks.
