Shining South Excerpt - The Tasloi's back!

Jolly Giant

First Post
I've noticed quite a few posters on these boards have wanted to see an official 3.5 version of the tasloi. Well, it's right here.

Myself, I didn't start playing until 3rd ed., I wasn't familiar with the taslois. Having looked at the Shining South excerpt I now see what all the fuzz is about. That tasloi's a very cool little humanoid! :D

PS. Love that illustration!

The tasloi was already back in 3e- there was a version of it in OA. But the Shining South version is nice. And the illo rocks.

Demiurge out.

However, the "Halruaa chapter" illos are gorgeous!

Really? Never heard of'em before. Am I missing something that explains why they'd be in demand? Just looks like another sneaky little critter. Were they prominent in some FR novel or something?

And on a related quetion for any FR sages out there, is the material in the Shining South already well-treaded ground in the FR canon, or is this brand spanking new material?

Somewhere in-between. Everything's already been said about the Realms, but the farthest from the Heartland, the less described it has been. The Shining South is not an area you'll find lot of sourcebooks on, which makes the interest of the book.

And if there are more pics like that city illos, the art will be another interesting points of the book.

They were a cool 1E humanoid from the semi-beloved I1, Dwellers of the Forbidden City.
