I'm just wondering when the heck they're going to do a Western Heartlands sourcebook. It's one of the most interesting areas in the Realms, and the most detail it's gotten was one of Volo's travel guides.

I agree, although Elminster's Ecologies holds a lot of Western Heartlands lore too.

not surprised.

eventually they will redo every 2edADnD sourcebook.

Don't you mean every 1st edition AD&D sourcebook? You know, stuff like Waterdeep, Calisham, Thay, Great Glacier and others?

Great Glacier was 2E.

All FR sourcebooks including and after FR7 - Hall of Heroes were 2e.

maybe those also. but FR7 - FR16 were 2edADnD. ;)

Shining South was 2edADnD.

Alright, you got me. My memory isn't as good as I remember it. My bad.

I remember my first big FR book was the FR Adventure hardcover book when they detailed a lot of the Sembia cities with quick maps and little details. I still use that thing a lot just for reference.

The Shining South area has always been one of my favorite for FR. I hope they have some cool new stuff, and don't just rehash the old stuff in a new package.
