Should non-evil planar beings get more coverage?

OK, so I have all these fiends in various gaming books (both official and third-party), we have the ongoing popular write-ups on unique fiends in Dragon, and there's going to be even more on planar evil guys next year as this board has been discussing lately.

Do you feel that non-evil planar beings are getting left behind? Will the Book Of Exalted Deeds be the final word on "the good guys of the planes" as far as this edition of the game goes? Or maybe the real question should be: would anyone care if it that turned out to be so?

If a book on celestials and the Heavens just wouldn't sell, it won't get made, I guess. Or maybe there is a third party book I don't know about that's addressed this very issue. Comments?

The game is all about killing things, so demons and edevils which players kill are going to be more common. Take a look at just the alignments of creatures and I'd bet that there are more evil things then good in the various monster books. The game is for heroes to kill the bad guys.

Malhavoc has a decent PDF called "Anger of Angels".

However, let me just say that it's the Modrons who really need love right now.

Well yeah, but... the "good guys" have a whole book too, it's called the PHB! :)

What, bad guys can't be created from it? I must have missed that rule :p

Only the REAAAAALLLLLY frightening ones.

Most critters of the races "human", "elf", "dwarf", etc. are going to be critters that your PCs wish to defend.

Good creatures in the monster books could enter into the game to help the PCs by being called upon, or to defend something sacred, or something like that. Many demons/devils have highly specialized functions, what about more celestials serving very specific roles visiting the Material Plane, maybe tied to a specific domain of a deity or unique celestial.

We had the Seven Deadly Sins statted into cleric domains in an issue of Dragon last year. It may not be as easy, but with all those spells out there, could domains for the Seven Virtues be cobbled together, with a celestial court for each?

I agree and what I think is needed is a resource which justifies 'The killing of good monsters without guilt'.
A book which listed the Angels of Vegeance and Celestial Reavers that are there to hurt innocent peasants for not observing the sabbath would be valuable and show that a hero can infact slay an NG celestial and still be one of the good guys mmm

After playing in the battle of All alignments forum(http://www.enworld.org/forumdisplay.php?f=217), I have developed a deep hatred of the Rillmari. They are the neutral, outerplaner race now found in FF and various conversions. They don't really fit into my current game, but tend to act when the balance of good and evil is threatened. They would feel justified in attacking or thwarting PCs.
