Shouldn't Miracle have an XP component?

Here's another brain popper for ya'. Take a look at the spell Geas/Quest on page 208 of the PHB. This spell is available to both arcane and divine casters. If functions identically in both forms of magic. However, divine casters refer to the spell as Quest, while arcane casters refer to the spell as Geas. If the designers intended for wish and miracle to function the same, the spell would have been called Miracle/Wish, but it isn't called that because they do not function the same.

Grow up kiddie...

Your point is not even on the topic...

I KNOW THAT WISH AND MIRACLE are not the EXACT SAME SPELL...

HOWEVER, they can accomplish the same things...

YOU ARE THE ONE THAT NEEDS TO PUT A FOOT in YOUR --- and just drop it...

Can Miracle grant an ability point increase thru the item creation process or not?

If so, then is it so freaking hard to imagine that it could do it in SPELL FORM?

IF you are so dense that you cannot accept that this is a valid argument than you need to go to school with my 3 yr old niece

No it is not hard to imagine that Miracle could increase an ability score. In fact I think most people cheerfully accept that possibility, but your argument is not that it's in the realm of possibility, but rather that it is an absolute fact, spelled out so clearly in the rules that anybody who disagrees would have to be an idiot.

The fact that you're back-pedaling now does nothing to either strengthen your untenable position or decrease the vulgarity of your tone.

I'll post the same request here that I did in another thread...

nwn_deadman: Resorting to flaming won't make other people see your way. Please refrain from doing so on these boards. There are other, more productive ways to accomplish things.

Insulting people and typing in all caps (which amounts to yelling IRL) are not considered acceptable behavior on most message boards.

This has been an ongoing problem, it seems. In the future, I would appreciate it if you would find a different way to respond.

Thanks.

Nope. :D

I think you need to look at who is the one flaming who...

I didn't anything other than "You are mistaken" and rynolds goes off and says that I should put my foot in my mouth!!!

Get YOUR facts straight before YOU accuse ME of FLAMING anyone!!!

I could care less what any distracters actually think; it just shows your LACK of LOGIC.

I am in the 98% as per my educational aptitude score here and I SERIOUSLY doubt any of you can compare... (HOWS THAT FOR A FLAME)

I am not backpedaling at all; I merely have to REDUCE my thoughts to YOUR level of understanding.

Enough is enough...

Like I said, I don't care what you (! $! _$)*!_$* people who are saying that I STARTED the FLAMES) think...

I can stoop no lower in trying to IMPART my thoughts as anywhere lower then here I would surely be FEEBLEMINDED!!!

From Dictionary.com:

dis·tract·er also dis·trac·tor Pronunciation Key (d-strktr)

n. One of the incorrect answers presented as a choice in a multiple-choice test.

I think you meant detractors:

detractor

n : one who disparages or belittles the worth of something

I don't know Axiomatic I think the irony of misusing a word just before you proclaim your superior intelligence and further using a word which references incorrect answers (possibly on that same educational aptitude test he's speaking of) is very funny.... :D

Speaking of logic, since you're the expert nwn, could you explain to me the inductive fallacy of the false analogy?
