Tefflon Billy and I were REALLY eyeing the steel dice at GenCon last year - especially the over-sized stainless d20.

But the prices... ouch.

I also tend to lose dice, and I would hate myself if I lost part of those sets.

My problem with the metal and semi-precious (My Precioussssss!!!) dice: what if they suck? Meaning, what if they don't roll true? If I get a POS plastic die, I just don't use it, and I'm not out that much money. The big dollar stuff though....

It´s feared in my group. Not only because it can roll very high (at least sometimes), mainly it´s because it´s likely to smash some toes or break some floor tiles when it falls off the table. It weighs almost 140g.
