Sidhe Li defeats Dalamar

[Jin Chi]

Gon Shi bows.

"You may commence fighting."

He looks down at his scroll of rules and reads quickly.

"The ancient masters have decreed this match to take place....er uh."

He squints through his glasses and peers around him.

"We're already here. And you've already exchanged blows. I knew that."

He pulls a chart out of his bag and begins working out the combination of attacks.

"A sword slashing and dominating. Very fierce. But bamboo? Not exactly a terrible foe. Kicking upon the wastelands? Lets see, effective if not particularly violent, although panther-style is quite terrible as well."

"Hmmmm.....I had better compare the defenses. Averting the aggression of a bird? Well that's not too difficult. Dodging a dark sunbeam? Now that requires speed and talent. And is not a Dark Sunbeam actually a moon beam? And this is a night fight."

"Very interesting...."

Gon Shi goes into his bag and pulls out a little flag. He sticks it in the dirt on Sidhe Li's side.

"Point to Sidhe Li. One point Sidhe Li, no points for Dalamar."

 

[Wicht]

Sidhe Li bows to the new judge and then turns back to his opponent. Slyly, for he has a plan, Sidhe Li drifts around Dalamar's blows.

The sly tiger drifts over the volcano; leaps over the pain of the canine!

 

[Dalamar]

The chimera slaughters the river; scatters the gaze of the soul and swiftly silences the aggression of the steel!

Dalamar is surprised by the kick and takes the full blow from it. Despite being hit he tries to hit Sidhe Li's nerve points in an attempt to temprarily paralyze his opponent.

 

[Jin Chi]

Gon Shi analyzes the moves.

After finally putting away his scroll he declares, "Sidhe Li's move is indeed subtle, but drifting idly over a volcano is dangerous. The Chimera attack is too devastating to resist and his defense is unflinching."

He plants a small flag in front of Dalamar.

"Point to Dalamar. One flag Dalamar, one flag Sidhe Li."

 

[Wicht]

Seizing the moment, Sidhe Li flies into action. He grows savage in his attack and snarls fiercely as he assumes the stance of the Manta Ray.

The manta ray annihilates the ruins; dodges the tempest of the arrow!

The flawless turtle sings across the steppes; guards against the beauty of the soul! *yen*

 

[Dalamar]

The raven bows over the fountain; shreds the speed of the amphibian!

Seeing his opponent opponent taking on such fierce look, Dalamar tries to slow down his opponent.

 

[Jin Chi]

Gon Shi cowers before the violence. "A raven bowing is not very terrifying. But a manta ray annihilating is a terrible thing indeed. Both defenses are stalwart as well."

Gon Shi plants a flag in front of Sidhe Li.

"Point to Sidhe Li."

"And Sidhe Li's follow-up is impressive. I believe there is a bonus for achieving the flawless turtle stance." He hands Sidhe Li a yen.

"And an additional point as well." He places another flag in front of Sidhe Li.

"3 Flags Sidhe Li, 1 flag Dalamar. Match to Sidhe Li."

He hands Sidhe Li 2 yen for the tournament. "Here is your tax break. Of course why the emperor is funding hooligans is beyond me...."

"Dalamar. You have lost, but according to my notes, it's no great loss for you. Find another thug and attempt to pummel them sufficiently."

"Sidhe Li, you advance to Yellow Belt 2. Another match like that and I can tax your dojo."

*comes to see the winner of the Match.. Sidhe Li* Hail and well met. Would you care for a match? I am trying to rebuild my Dojo's Honor... and My own.. but if you win you will gain great honor yourself...

 

[Wicht]

Flush from the excitement and exertion, sidhe Li pauses for a moment and calms his soul. Then pocketing the three yen he earned from the match he bows to the judge and to his opponent. Then turning to his next challenger, "Certainly, I will fight you."
