Round 5 Continues
The construct hits B3 for 13 damage, failing to drop it with one hit. Zaeryl quickly drops B3 with his crystal shard, allowing the construct to scuttle between Iggy and the remaining lizardman.

The final lizardman is confused, but centers its hate upon Iggy, the last person to attack it. in an effort to get to him, it draws an AOO from the constuct. If the AOO hits, it may refocus the lizardman's ire.

[RA may roll the attack.]

Round 5 Continues
The last lizardman is simple minded in his confused state, and redirects his attention when the construct hits him. He teeters on his feet, and strikes the construct with the last of his stength, dealing a moderate blow to the artificial entity.

Iggy withdraws out of attack range.

Planus' shots (1d20+11=24, 1d8+3=5, 1d20+11=15, 1d8+3=9) quickly put the confused lizardman out of his misery.

*** End of Combat ***

"A minor annoyance. But it does seem to indicate that we have reached the area threatened by minions of the dragons, and indeed, it did waste some amount of our resources on the day we should in theory be reaching the fortress. Still, the weak construct was more than a match for the creatures' tomfoolery, particularly with both of those battlefield control spells to distract them and slow them down. Now we had best continue."

That's OK. This is my only game, so I tend to get antsy. :)

Charlarn tucks Goruksblain back into his belt. He asks Zaeryl, "That was a weak... what did you call it... construct? I can only guess what stronger ones can do." He looks over the group with a practiced eye. "Planus, how are you feeling? I can heal you if you want."

"The stronger one is not appreciably more powerful, though it is sturdier, more accurate, and nearly impossible to destroy. Still, the combined might of these lizards wasn't close to destroying it, and it seemed to land its blows well enough, so it seemed to be the correct choice. We are working on a yet-more-powerful puppet of extreme strength. Perhaps you will see it by the time this journey is done."

(OOC: If Z can hit 10 somehow, which isn't likely for a *long* time yet, he can make an AC VII, and those are spiffy!)

Charlarn of Phyrah: male human cleric 6/ranger 2

Charlarn looks around and says, "We? You mean you and your god? Your construct looked like something Chennet' would make."
