We already play with a trained skills and no ranks.

We have always had a Spell roll.

I am more than interested to hear what 4e will be. If anything like Star Wars Saga I am definatley in.

I'm sticking with 3.5 through the end of the Midwood campaign, unless transitions are seamless, which I think is unlikely. I will probably pick up the 4E core books and begin to steal good ideas, however.

Like ive said many times I will buy 4e Forgotten Realms books for the fluff only.

4e suppliments will only be bought if it is more of a revision and all my older books are still good. If It is anything serious Ala Star Wars Saga Edition then no I most certainly will not change.

That would be a good question, Glyfair. I'm sure 4e will be awesome, but if I'm really honest with myself, I have to admit I've got plenty of material to last me until they do a patch a few years down the road.

You know, that's a great question for a WotC Q&A session. After we switch to 4E, how long before you release 4.5?
"As soon as Hasbro demands profits like we had from 4E's release. You guys play D&D on the weekend, every day we play Profits & Pinkslips With Hasbo"

Assuming the folks I DM for are cool with staying at 3.5, that's what I'll do. I have SCAP, AoW, Shades of Grey, War of the Burning Sky, and Rappan Athuk to throw at them yet.

That should keep me going until 5e, I reckon

I voted "something else", because unless the new system blows me away I'll probably just buy the PH and DMG when they come out and plunder them for whatever ideas they can be plundered for that fit in with what I already have. Which is pretty much exactly what I did with 2e as well. :)
