Shows what you know. I have had 1 single DM in the entire time that I have posted in this forum. My posts have been about that campaign, the problems, and the DM's absolute refusal to change anything at all.

Posting as a player, I think that DocM needs to be a DM. He's always complaining about games that aren't being run the way he thinks they should be run. It doesn't matter whether he is whining or posting with reasons. I could care less how anyone wants to classify the posts. From the posts I've read, he's never satisfied with the way games are run. He often posts very rudely about how his opinions are not in synch with other players and DMs.

He needs to run a game as a DM so he can find a game that runs the way he wants it to run not so he can find out how tough it is. DM's can suck. I hope that DocM finds that he is not one of those DM's. If he is not just whining, and is not one of those people who is more happy complaining than trying, he will accept the challenge and maybe be happier for it.

Reapersaurus, you should not be so quick to dismiss advice based on what you assume. I am posting as a player. Try not to be defensive about what you assume. It makes you generalize about the source of advice and dismiss it without actually knowing what you are talking about.

I have read DocM posts and agree that he should not be playing with the group that he was asked to leave. I agree that he should not join another group where the same situation exists. It looks like there are other players in that group that are happy. He should start his own group and run the game the way he thinks it should be run.

I wish him luck.

How is that different from what I have said?

"He's always complaining about games that aren't being run the way he thinks they should be run."

"Games" refers to game sessions, not to "multiple DM's."

"He often posts very rudely about how his opinions are not in synch with other players and DMs."

This refers to other players and DM's on the boards, and I guess the DM and players of the group you were asked to leave.

Run your own game and be happy. Good luck!

It has been one campaign with glaring problems that the DM refuses to do anything about no matter how he was talked to. It was his story and his world and no matter what he was doing wrong it did not matter.

Did he see it as wrong? Did the other PCs? You said they kicked you out, so it sounds like you were the only one with a problem. The purpose of the game is too have fun. I saw forget the rrules, abuse the rules, and play wacked out characters if you are having fun. Is that group still gaming together without you? If so, it sounds like they figured out how to have fun.

You have read all 200 plus posts of mine?

You're right, sorry. I haven't read all 200+ posts of yours. I think I only got to about a dozen or so before the cluelessness became too much to handle.

Damn, I didnt know I had such a huge fan out there.

A better solution for you might be to just put all your rants on pieces of paper and stick them on your bathroom cabinet window. You can be guaranteed you won't have anybody coming along and poking holes in them, the ungrateful sods.

Now I know you are not worth the effort to talk to or even read your posts.

I don't know if they are still gaming without me. Guess no one will know till next week. At least one person sleeps through the game so you can debate if he actually plays or not.

I enjoy a good DM game, I just like the rules to be consistent so everyone can contribute. A poor DM like this makes that rather impossible.
