What exactly qualifies as a secret door for the elven racial ability?

Does a tunnel hidden by an illusion ping off the keen elven senses, or are secret doors just straight up scooby doo. Elves can only detect secret doors that require a press on loose stone, moving the lamp on the , etc...

I'd say either of those. Tunnels hidden by illusions and scooby doo doors.

There's a section in the DMG describing what qualifies as a "Secret Door." But I don't have it with me right now.

An elf who merely passes within 5 feet of a secret or concealed door is entitled to a Search check to notice it as if she were actively looking for it.

Does that help? It's pretty broad in focus.

I´d say any door that needs a search check to be seen.
