Silver Age Sunday

Hey folks,

Just wanted to say I had a good time Sunday, playing the impromptu game of Silver Age Sentinels D20. Not a great plot, but I had fun running a super-hero game. It's been a long time and I would definitely do it again, if you guys are ever interested. We could talk about ways to set the tone so that it wouldn't be straight, four-color superheroes, since I know that nobody but me is a superhero junkie.

I doubt I can play anything this weekend, as I work Sunday and I will probably just hang with the family on Saturday. Maybe we could get together a Conan game at GenCon!

I was wanting to get on here and ask you guys how the adventure turned out. :) I'd love to play some superheroes sometime soon.

With all that's going on, I probably won't be available this weekend either. Maybe we should just lay off until the weekend after GenCon? Just wait and play on Saturday the 28th, or in Thormagni's case, Sunday the 5th of September...?

Conan@GenCon - There's been some discussion of that over at the Mongoose boards about that. I figure if Vince decides to run a game, we'll have a signup sheet at the Mongoose booth for people to sign up.

I had a great time playing the "The Silver Charger". John did a terrific job of providing very believable NPCs and an intriguing plot (despite his modesty). The game was very open to out of the box thinking and creativity.

We successfully foiled the plans of Matthews GenCorp to stop the protests that were to take place at the upcoming political convention in Empire City -- but just barely!

I was still struggling with the general mechanics so wasn't able to fully get into character but look forward to another opportunity.

I'll be in Mexico this weekend and GenCon the next so my availablity will be spotty at best!

Awesome! I can't wait to play that again. I'm thinking a nice mix of Hawkeye (not the Doctor at 4077), Green Arrow, and a nice helping of Phaidon.

Next two weekends - Yeah, I think it'd be best if we just laid off until the Saturday after GenCon and spend some time with our families instead of gaming. ;)
