Silver Bullets Chapter 1:L'Arruolamento

Cyrus
Cyrus's sleep isn't disturbed again, and he wakes up about 11:00 in the morning. Little seems to have changed.

Cyrus wakes up with a long yawn and a stretch, disappointed that he's sleeping in some crook's basement just like he is every morning. As he heads upstairs to grab some coffee, he begins to gradually remember the events of the previous night. With a coffee mug and a lighted cigarette in one hand, he uses his other to extract the piece of paper from within his coat.
Rome?
Cyrus then wakes up his surly employer to question him on the location.
"Hey, Marshall, did you see some guy come around here- nevermind. Anyways, is there any districts or territories in Boston called Rome? Some guy needs a job done."
Cyrus thinks to himself, he doesn't mean the Rome, does he?

James

James doesn't recognize the adress. He has enough Wealth to afford the ticket, as he's being reimbursed.

Monique

The man shrugs. "I don't think so. You'll be reimbursed for your ticket when you get there. Anything else you want to know?"

Cyrus

"Huh?" Marshall asks as he wakes up grogilly. "No, I didn't see anybody...no, not that I know of...maybe it's in another city."

Cyrus raises an eyebrow to his current employer.
Maybe it is the Rome. He did say Italy, not little Italy.
Cyrus thinks for a bit while nursing his overheated coffee.
"Marshall, the guy I was talking about said he was with the Silver Bullets. Do you know anything about those guys? Well some guy came around yesterday askin' me if I want a job, and asked me to meet him in the Rome. If these guys are the real deal, I don't think I can him down. You know that I've never been out of this miserable country- so I'm thinkin about taking a plane or boat or something to the place he's got down here. Any idea where this is in Rome?" Cyrus hands the tired Marshall the notepage he received the night before.

Marshall takes the note and scans it over. "Silver Bullets, huh? Can't say I've heard of them. Hmm...don't know this adress either. Sounds pretty suspicious to me."

"Thanks, Marshall," Cyrus says as he pats the man on his shoulder. He turns away from Marshall, putting his coffee mug down and grabbing his employer's keys. "Suspicious? Yes. But I can't say that a free trip to Rome and a job doesn't interest me. Is it ok if I borrow your car? I'm gonna go down to the travel agency and try to figure stuff about this address."

"Sure, man," Marshall says casually, sipping at his coffee.

Cyrus finds a travel agency fairly easily. The building, labelled "Brookman & Sons Travel" is somewhat dingy, but looks mostly fine.

"No, Monsieur. I like surprises. It's been a pleasure to know you. A la prochaine fois!"
She smiles seducingly, then she turns to return to the tables, making a move with her head to gather her hair on her left shoulder, her spicy perfume trailing behind her.

James settles in to his seat, wondering what the heck he's gotten himself into.

"Silver Bullets, eh" James thinks to himself. "Sounds like the name of a bad rock band."

As he drifts off to sleep, he dreams of ancient Rome and it's once-massive empire. Once on the ground, he will take public transportation to the address listed.

Monique

The rest of Monique's night goes more or less as planned, and she wakes up the next morning in her hotel room. She had managed to win a small amount of money (Wealth bonus +1) last night.

James

Fiumicino Airport, Rome, Italy
18:30 local time

A couple hours later, the flight touches down at the airport. James is somewhat disoriented in the new city, and the puzzling public transit system doesn't help measures. Eventually, he finds the adress. A sign above the short building reads Tango Delta * Barra e randello * Bar and Night Club. The building seems to be decorated sparsely.

James looks around to see if anyone is watching him. He knows he probably won't see anyone, but that's what they all do in the spy movies before they go into their hideout.

He steps through the door and looks around, expecting to see the seedy bar that's always a front for a place like this; at least in the movies.

"I watch too many movies" James thinks as he chuckles to himself.
