Going OT here, but the problem isn't having a boyfriend--the problem is finding one who can deal with your job. They exist.

...and yes, it seems like that that career may make having a boyfriend difficult. Have you spoken with other women in the industry who have managed to make that happen - sometimes you can get good advice from peers.

Then again, you mentioned not being able to handle both...so maybe I should learn to keep my advice to myself.
