As for the topic, I have dated a few non-gamers. Never dated a gamer (beyond a single movie or such). I can't see being in a long term relationship with anyone but a gamer.
I guess I just realized that games are more of a lifestyle for me then a simple RP hobby. By being a gamer I mean that anything can work from Scrabble and cribbage, to D&D and EQ. I want to be with a person who can settle in and play a board game while we chat about what happened in our respective days.
It is strange, in college I stopped playing games in relationships. If I like someone I tell them so. If they upset me, I try to be honest with them. I think I like all my games to be above board
Good luck to all of those out there looking. I don't really try. If it happens, that will be so very sweet. If I do not find that love, well, My focus is really based on being happy. At the moment I think I am happy over 25% of the time, Unhappy under 5% of the time. And the rest? Well the rest of the time I hope I am in a very Zen place (Not much formal meditation though, gets in the way of most of my games).
