I've personaly known four females that RPed. All of them were/are going out with guys that also RPed, and I think all except for one got into it because their Boyfriend/ husband played.

Oddly enough, I've met more single females through EverQuest than I have through RPing

Yeah, being tall isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'm 6'6", and hit my head a lot.

Besides, it's alright for women to be short. IT's not cool, apparently, for guys to be short. Short men tend to be looked down upon(pun intended) by most women.

I was actually amazed that I know almost as many women that have an interest in D&D as men. Back at my birthday, I jokingly made a remark to a girl about a "48 hour, full-on, no holds barred D&Dathon" (I had drank a lot of caffine, and I tend to add extra description like 'full-on' when that happens) when she said "That'd be a GREAT idea!" I was completely caught off guard. In the end, I didn't have the time to plan an adventure for 24 hours in a regular sized party, nevermind a 48 hour game for the 15 people who wanted to try it, so it cam to nothing.

But it's nice to know that these people aren't as rare as I thought in Scotland. Now I just need one who likes anime as well.

Best place to find women gamers, at a LARP. First off, they are gamers, second, unlike EQ, they aren't men pretending to be women. Personally my last three girlfriends have all been gamers, all met at Larps, actually at one Larp in particular.. this one
