Valley of the Dorks has lotsa geeky women. There are, however, drawbacks, as Mr. Mythago could tell you....nothing like arguing over who is hogging the MMORPG character slots.

though seriously, considering how rare gaming females are i'd have thought people viewed them more as a rare and treasured commodity than something to be fearful of?

while not as rare as bigfoot or a 6' asian woman there are a few female gamers out there. while I havn't met a lot of them, the ones I have met were usually dating other gamers. gaming is like any other hobby, usually you wind up dateing other people that you meet who have similar interests.

Not including online, I've met exactly four female gamers in my 22 years of roleplay experience. Perhaps that is just a UK thing though, even at college and uni when I was there, their just weren't any. But like you say of the four I have met all were dating male gamers LOL... i guess that makes us gamers a species unto ourselves <chuckle>
