Well, I admit I met my girlfriend off a website (
www.matchdoctor.com), and when I saw her profile, I thought it was too good to be true. Here was a lady who loved horror movies, fantasy/sci-fi books, animals, metal, and who despised chick flicks. I was amazed when she answered me, and even more amazed when we agreed to date each other exclisively. After getting to know her, I found out that although she had never gamed before, she picked up on it really quickly, and now she is almost as enthused to game as I am. Not to mention she loves painting minis, is a dice fiend, and is always telling me ideas for her characters and plotlines she comes up with. It also doesn't hurt that she used to work as a model, and often has a "dirtier" mind than I do!
Best of all, she is for real, and we have planned to get married after I finish school for my doctorate. Don't give up guys, sometimes ladies that seem too good to be true really are just wonderful people who have been hurt/burned by jerks in the past- and who really appreciate sensitive gamer-geeks like us!
