Situation Question: 1 handed or 2?

Legend
For the most part the ph assumes that a character with a 2handed weapon is always holding it 2 handed. But for disarm attempts, there's a couple of situations where he might be holding it only in one hand, and thus losing a big advantage.

1) You are using improved trip on your friendly neighborhood greatsword user. You trip him and then as your extra attack make a disarm attempt. Is the weapon in both hands still, so the guy just lands flat on his face or his back?

2) The guy is picking up his weapon. Is he using both hands at once?
**I'm mostly positive this one is yes, as it still makes sense either way.

3) you ready an action to hit the guy as he's standing up. As he's standing up, one handed or two handed?

I have a feeling ph assumes always 2 handed, and the flavor is just left as flavor, but it would make logical sense for especially 3 that the guy would have to use one hand for somethign else.

The weapon is in both hands still. Assume that while the guy might have put a hand out to break his fall, he's managed to get his grip back on the sword by the time you try to disarm him.

2) The guy is picking up his weapon. Is he using both hands at once?

What difference does it make?

Two-handed. He jumps to his feet, rather than than staggering upright.

A disarm attempt might be a whole series of moves designed to deprive an opponent of their weapon, rather than just one big swipe. While someone in the situations you mention might be holding their weapon in one hand initially, you can assume they've got both their hands on the weapon by the time you make the roll.
