Skald or Savage Bard?

Is there an actual Skald class written anywhere (either base or PrC?)??? I could have sworn I saw one written up in a WotC book...

If not, could someone tell me what the Savage Bard gets (and doesn't get) from the normal Bard.

I know they are Illiterate, they lose some spells and gain others (mostly nature related they gain). Anything else? Any new weapons or armor proficiencies open up for them? Any new songs or other abilities they get (or don't get) like a regular Bard?

this may be Warrior Skald PrC p.186 in "Races of Faerun"
short summary :
Perform (poetry, any others) 9 ranks, concentration 6 ranks, Power Attack + Cleave to qualify

Has bardic music, strong BA progression, strong Fort and Ref saves, some bonus abilities related to combat motivation, but no spells. Very good at abolishing fatigue and making people hustle...

May need some rebuilding by GM because of the changes in how and when bardic songs are acquired and this PrC is firmly 3.0

The Quintessential Bard (Mongoose Press) has the Skald variant.

d8 HD, martial weapon proficiency, cast one spell less per day.
