Slaves of the Dragon (orsal judging)

Thanyvan can add a Cure Minor to the injured kobolds.

He runs and lends a hand wherever is needed and tries to play charades with all the conversations going on around him.

Katherine:
The kobold spits, then exclaims in a shrill voice:
[sblock]"You accuss someone whom you can not know, of things he does not do. You judge events you have little knowledge of. Explain yourself, or I see no reason to aid your preparations."[/sblock]

(I'll try to use Sense Motive myself, but I don't mind being asked for Sense Motive checks when you want them.)

Katherine sets a look of confusion on her face, [sblock]"I'm sorry, there is a dragon man, but he doesn't eat people in Grenton? Or He does, but I can't understand to pass judgement on it? I'm really not trying to pass judgement, just get the story straight. I'm a storyteller, and I'd hate to pass false tales. But obviously you know more about this than I do. Tell me the facts of it, and I won't spread my confused version around."[/sblock]

Opale:
[sblock]"Why would you think we were searching for a softskin child?" He seems to be evading your question.[/sblock]

Katherine:
[sblock]"It is not my place to talk with a softskin about these things," the kobolds, half evading the question, half appearing sincere. Then he whispers, just loud enough for you to hear "Storytellers never care about truth. Only the sound of their stories." However, your explanation seems to be enough for him as he continues to help you.[/sblock]

Thanyvan, watched closely by the kobold leader, casts another Cure Minor Wounds on the near-dead kobolds, and his wounds close a bit more.

Opale continue to speak with her kobold.

[SBLOCK]"The idea came to me, because I am a softskin. What happen to that child?"[/SBLOCK]

She looks at Thanyvan and just do an approving nods.

[SBLOCK]"Ran away? Do you know why she has done that? And do you know the small village of Grenton? We heard they were attack. If the child ran in that direction, not sure how the villager would have done with her..."[/SBLOCK]

Planus quickly grows bored while Katherine and Opale question their prisoners. He begins telling Z'zess about the time he dressed up in a giant monkey costume and fooled Rika. There are many elloborations that the others present at the time don't recall in quite the way that Planus says. To hear him tell it, Rika's eyes were as big as teacups and Jack was about to stab him before he finally revealed that he was a friendly elf and not a mean, nasty gorrilla.

OOC: I will be gone until Monday. Planus will continue telling extravagant stories while the others question the prisoners. More than likely, he will only get about half-way through his first story by the time the questioning is done. If combat breaks out while I am gone, Planus will avoid melee and fire his bow. He will save his spells mostly for healing.

As he skins a few rabbits with a rather sharp dagger, Jack throws Z'zess at a look that, roughly translated, says, 'Would you like me to demonstrate how I was about to stab him?'

Rika, Elf Fighter 1

"Ha ha, very funny, Planus. As I recall, it was an illusion spell, I didn't freak out, no one was going to stab you, and you need to SHUT UP!"
Rika's hand moves to her rapier, then stops. "Not worth a fight over a tall tale."
