Planus collects the dropped weapons of the kobolds. When he finishes this, he says, "Lets keep an eye on these while our friends handle the interogations. I'll make sure they don't have any hidden weapons on them." Planus then searches the 6 kobolds who are not being questioned by Opale or Katherine. "So, do any of you kobolds speak Common? What are your names, I can't very well call you 'you kobolds' all the time." After all that, Planus redraws his bow and an arrow, just in case the kobolds decide to try any funny business.

OOC: What kind of weapons were they carrying? What kind of quality? Good steel, rusting with hardly an edge?

To get my counts correct, there are 8 kobolds. 3 are unconscious. The leader Z'zess is conscious. 1 is talking to Opale. 1 is talking to Katherine, or will be soon. That leaves 2 other conscious kobolds.

Planus search turns up no other weapons, and it appears none of the kobolds speak Common, except for Z'zess, who replies "They no speak 'Common.' Call kobolds."

The weapons are all spears, and a sword, of average quality.

(There are 8 kobolds, 4 unconcious, the leader Z'zess is conscious and is talking to Opale. 1 is talking to/helping Katherine. That leaves 2 other conscious kobolds.)

Opale get close of one of the other kobold who is in the tangle and she gives her hand. <in draconic, she tells.

[SBLOCK]"Come on, get out of there. There. But if your clan lives in the forest and in the caves under, what were you doing near the road? Z'zess seems to know that softskins can do... stupid action. And I doubt your leader would do such thing without a good reason"

She try to get his trust.[/SBLOCK]

Leading the kobald away from the others, Katherine continues to speak draconic, and tries to set the prisoner somewhat at ease. "You will excuse my accent, I learned this language orriginally from documents on magic, not live speakers of it. You are lucky to be of a race that speaks a tongue of such power..."

Once she feels at least somewhat comfortable with the creatures 'normal' expression, she says matter of factly, "So tell me about the Dragon Man." She watches the kobald carefully as she askes, as interested in his intial reaction to the question (fear, suprize, confusion) as the answer he will come up with.

[sblock]"You know, in Grenton. I hear he eats softskins. Surely you know him." Again, Katherine looks for any reaction when she says the name of the town.[/sblock]

(ooc: Otu, do you require a request for a sense motive check every time I think it might come in handy, or is it assumed in this sort of interaction?)

Veras-Re looks at the proceedings and grumbles incoherently to himself.

Wiping his hands clean of kobold blood, the dwarf picks up his walking stick then ambles his way toward the wagon. From there, he keeps a watch out.

Jack steps back and admires his make-shift handiwork. "It's not pretty," he decides, "but it'll keep him alive for now."

Seeing the rest of the wound taken care of, Jack heads back to the wagon to retrieve some of his 'forage', and lend a hand cooking some supper.

The kobold spits, then exclaims in a shrill voice:
[sblock]"You accuss someone whom you can not know, of things he does not do. You judge events you have little knowledge of. Explain yourself, or I see no reason to aid your preparations."[/sblock]

(I'll try to use Sense Motive myself, but I don't mind being asked for Sense Motive checks when you want them.)

Opale looks consern by what the kobold told, and she ask to the small creature.
