Quarion's expression softens a very tiny amount, and he relaxes his bow. A little. In elven, he says, "I shall not stop you from healing this scu-... these creatures. But neither shall I waste my healing magics on one of their kind. I do not trust them, not at all, but I respect and trust in Opale's judgment. Do what you will." His bow remains trained on a kobold, and he is still ready to let loose at a moment's notice.

The speaker makes sure that the other kobolds followed his lead and dropped their weapons (which they did, sorry for not stating that clearly), and he produces a strange hissing noise before continuing.

Planus used his cure minor wounds on the most injured kobold as he appeared very close to death with blood spurting from his chest.

Veras-Re looks distasteful at having to spare these creatures though he sees the advantages of letting the kobolds live. Veras-Re is anything but pragmatic.
Furthermore, the dwarf takes some comfort in following some clear orders for once.
He attends to the nearest kobold, thrusting his walking stick into the ground. His psi-crystal keeps a watch out for treachery from the vermin.

Kathereine nods to Opale and says in Elvish [sblock]"I advise we each choose one of the lesser kobalds and ask him our questions well out of range of the others. then we can question this leader and compare to see that all answers are the same. Ask for details of their answers even if they are of no interest to us, so we can pry into any cover story they may have all agreed on."[/sblock]

[SBLOCK]"Well, Z'zess, I know we are softskined, and so you have no reason to trust us, even more after what we just did. So, before we talks, watch over your wounded, looks over my companion, to be sure they are doing there jobs right."[/SBLOCK]
She turns to another kobold, and as she talks, she points Katerine.
[SBLOCK]"You, go with her, she'll need your help to take some food in the wagon. We will discuss over a meal. Maybe that will prove you that we, softskins, are not always muderous, even if we had a bad starts to prove it."[/SBLOCK]
[SBLOCK]Bluff +10 to hide her true intention.[/SBLOCK]
She adds in Common.
"We will discuss with them over a meal, if they accept. I don't ask you to trust them, but at least, trust me and Katerine."

The kobold indicated by Opale wiggles out of the tangle. Jakub gets out the provisions and dishes, though his face indicates that he is not glad about this turn of events.
Z'zess also crawls out of the tangle and checks the other downed kobolds, some of which are carefully dragged out of the tangle by the other kobolds. The worst-hurt, and nearly dead kobold was apparently saved in the last second by Planus' spell. Jack couldn't do much on his own for a second one, but Veras-Re managed to stabilize him. Only after some time are the two remaining kobolds out of any danger, despite Jack and Veras-Re working together.
