Slaves of the Dragon (orsal judging)

Since each wagon was manned by one kobold, and you downed (whether by killing or knocking out) each, none of the kobolds escaped. They did not have any prisoners, and whether you want to take prisoners is up to you. You did not notice a change in direction.

"Let tie the surviving one. If we need to know something, they might answer our questions." says Opale, seeing one kobold lying unconcious next to his wagon.

The villagers greet the returning wagons, but the group surrounding Joran still seems skeptical. "Well, it'll make a new beginning elsewhere easier."

Thanyvan stretches and says "You won't need to go elsewhere. We'll make sure. Our friends back up from those tunnels again?"

"I disagree with Mongrel. One day, I am quite sure I'll be happy to settle down and take advanatge of a well earned rest. But that's not for tomorrow. And for now, we still have a dragon to take care." Opale replies before going next to Thanyvan waiting for the answer.

"Yes, we are," Jack says, as if he'd been listening in to the conversation all along... In fact, if the others hadn't known full well that he had been rooting around the kobold tunnels, they couldn't have rightly said that he hadn't been standing just there the whole time.

Jack pulls a sheaf of odd-looking parchments from his satchel. "I know a couple of you guys speak their gibberish... Can any of you read their chicken-scratch too?"

"You mean you want to stay in one place forever? Mongrel says that's not only a bad idea, it's not right. Oh well, to each his own."

"You got a funny way of talking about Mongrel, mister... The bastard's more about finding what lost, than losing what's found. It's the people who don't want to wander -- who want to find a home, but can't -- who ask him for help. You like wandering about without a home? Then your'e better off talking with the Winds, than the Mutt."

Planus opens his mouth to respond, and ... nothing comes out. For the first time since leaving the inn, it appears Planus is speechless. A confused look sets in on his features as if he is pondering something for the first time.

"Let me check at it, if it is written in draconic, I can read it." Opale replies to Jack. She takes the paper he handed her and starts to read it.

Jack said:
"Yes, we are,"
"Gah! How do you do that!?" Thanyvaan is shocked by the unexpected answer.

Opale takes the parchments, and a quick glance shows her that it is indeed draconic.

[sblock=Parchments Part 1]The uppermost parchment is definitely a letter:
"Beloved S'Kri,
I do not know whether you will ever read this letter. I am supposed to get ready for an ambush on four softskins, who have been identified as adventurers. There seems to be ties to the girl named Sina. Z'kar half-heartedly recommended preparing case Utter Defeat, in case we don't return, but he doesn't believe in it. Of course. He is a Crusader. He could not lose to 'abominations', or 'vermin', as they call the softskins. Those who remain behind are the same. I wonder if they'll actually get the work done in time.
The dying priest of course, called for collapsing the connecting tunnel so that the kobolds would be safe, and no villager would be harmed. Typical for an Integrator. Life was much easier in my old clan, where the Ur-Dragon was but a distant memory, not a life-defining allegiance. Before the missionaries came..."
the following lines are hastily written:
"I must go. I know now I won't return. Either I will die as a Crusader, or be captured as an Integrator. Either way, I won't stay Indifferent."
