Slaves of the Dragon (orsal judging)

OOG: Actually, the psi-crystal's mode of locomotion is via a set of spidery, ectoplasmic legs.

"It cannot provide light, though it can see without light as far as 40 paces. It can hear like a normal person as well." Veras-Re replies blandly as he makes the final prep. He assumes a monotone with his gravely voice, just barely hiding his anxiousness for the task at hand. Kobolds are vermin but they make for nasty underground fighters when cornered.

Nevertheless, Veras-Re is willing to follow Jack's orders, since he seems to be the perceived leader of this splinter group.

With Planus having stopped one wagon, the hunt for the others begins, and the second one is quickly taken out (much more quickly than it took me to post this *rolleyes at himself*). This leaves two wagons. Are you (if anyone is still here) going to take on both, or try to follow one or both of the wagons?

Planus goes after the closest one, still firing arrows as soon as he has the opportunity.

OOC: Speed 40, Attack +5, Damage 1d8+2, +1/+1 if inspire courage still in effect.
Spells in effect, Longstrider, Magic Weapon (bow) if less than 20 rounds since the beginning of the battle.

Opale follows Planus. In case he would need help, but running and realoading her crossbow is just impossible, and none of her spell have enough reach, so she just prepare herself in case.

well, the wagon chasing was taking place while katherine was dimplomating and putting out fires, so I'm waiting for that thread to catch up before I can do anything more. (and if they stop them all I guess katherine won't need to track anything....)

Tracing the third wagon and stopping it takes a bit more time. Those of you who do follow get the impression - enhanced by the fact that some of the villagers possessions aided in tracking down this wagon - that the kobolds have begun to push the horses beyond what would be considered healthy, to be quicker.

This is about the point where the other group entered the tunnels.

"If they push that much, they must not have much distance to cover. It might not be a good idea to continue the pusuit. What do you think." she repies to the other of the group.
