Sleep spell....overpowered?

sleep spell put enemy in unconscius condition untill a ts.....

but untill this can someone wake sleeping ones?....

i can thrust my greatsword of mass destruction in his ass and dont' wake him?????

in paragraph that explain rest and make guard on camping it's explain that one asleep can be wake up by a shout (free action....)

The only way to break free of sleep is to succeed on a saving throw.

Sleep, however, takes a failed save to take effect. On first blast, it affects everyone whose will defense is beaten, making them slow. Then when their turn comes up, they do their thing, then make a saving throw at the end of that turn. If they fail, they fall asleep. If they succeed, they remain slowed but they do not fall asleep. The next round, they can shrug off 'slowed' with a save.

You can use heal skill to allow him a saving throw... or was aid aid another? its in the KotS rule page...

so tchnically an axe on the head could count as aid another
 

It's not bad at all. You need to hit with your attack. Then your opponent has to fail a save a round later after being able to attack normally for that time. Then after that, he gets a save with a 55% chance of succeeding every round until he wakes up. While he is unconscious, you can coup de grace for automatic crit damage. Which is good, but certainly not instant death.
