[Slightly OT] Robo Rally: Is it still in print?

Cedric

First Post
I was talking to a friend about this tonight and explaining that it was like the best game ever, but I lost my copy in a move gone wrong (along with most of my personal posessions).

Does anyone know if it's still in print or where you can get it?

I'm fairly certain it's out of print now. I just started teaching it to my gaming group as something to do on weeks we're not all in attendance. They adore it. One of them went looking for it and reported that it was no longer available...so I'm going on his word.

I'm just wondering if I can still reorder some of the individual components. I could really use a new deck of the playing cards as we've played just too many games with the original set.

It is definitely out of print, and I have had no luck in finding it for the past few months in any store (online or otherwise). Your best bet is eBay, which is where I have been looking; they are on auction there all the time. Be warned though, the bidding usually creeps up into the ~$100-$120 range, which is too much for me at this point.

It's my favorite boardgame of all time.

I have the game and the expansion.

They are not for sale at any price.

The expansion? I have all four expansions. Twenty boards of robot blasting greatness!

I agree on both points - best boardgame ever and not for sale at any price. Well, there might be a price, but probably no one willing to pay it.

I have the game and the first expansion. What were the last two expansions called? Might have to look on Ebay for them. GREAT game. I thinke it would be a perfect turn based computer game, you programing thr robots each turn, ect.

The expansions were:

Armed and Dangerous
Crash and Burn
Grand Prix
Radioactive

Approximately in that order, though I might have mixed up the middle two.

I was just saying that the other day. If ever there was a game that lent itself to a computer game with little modifications to the basic rules, it was Roborally

I played this regularly with two buddies, but sadly one of them (the b****** who actually owned the game & suppies) up and moved to Utah...

But if anyone is near Roosevelt, UT, you have Good Game :D
