Slings, Bullets , and Skiping stones

Looking for good Slings and ammo for slings as well as skipping stones. Im playing a halfling who is using sling as main ranged weapon and using a lote of small throwing weapons like daggers, spikes , and such . So fare im the only guy in my party who has gotten no magical equipment or weapons . I dont think the DM is out to get me , but he might be hitting a wall as to what to give me or make .

Never liked Halflings. Never liked their premise.

You can get anything on the sling that a bow can get. It is automatically Mighty as it adds your Str bonus to the damage roll, so no problems there. With a sling, things to look out for are things that will improve your range. Far Shot and that +1 enchantment (forgot the name) will more than double it, letting you outrange a normal longbow.

+1 Shocking/Frost sling will allow your to automatically fire bullets that does lightning/cold damage and be considered magical for DR purposes.

Don't bother with magical throwing weapons. Waste of money.
 

Get something that allows you to cast GMW 1/day for using throwing weapons. Shuriken can be enchanted as ammo, IIRC, meaning that 1 GMW covers 50 of them.
 


How about magical gloves that are enhanced like a ranged weapon and enhances whatever you throw, like a magical bow does to its ammunition? Should cost the same as a magical bow/crossbow.
 


Check out pages 32-33 of the Arms and Equipment Guide for alchemical sling bullets. They're basically hollow glass spheres filled with either acid, alchemist's fire, or holy water, made to smash on impact with the target. Maybe your DM will also let you put Thunderstones in your sling, either ruling that you can buy spherical ones for a bit more than normal or even if not, just imposing a small attack penalty for suboptimal shape.

Also, a wand of Magic Stone is nice because each casting lasts 30 minutes regardless of caster level, so a CL 1 wand is fine. If you anticipate a fight any time in the next half hour, cast it on some pebbles and you've got some enchanted ammo, especially against undead. If you're at a level here your party members are getting magic weapons, etc., then I assume your wealth level is such that even "wasting" most of those wand charges because nothing happens is no big deal.
 

Loading a sling is a move equivilent action. Maybe you could get a magical sling that automaticly loaded itself with a non-magical bullet (it makes those) or any other bullet of your choice as a free action? Means you can now move and fire, or fire more than once a round once you get high enoungh in level.

Probably a +1 magical enhancement.
