Small business question

Between posting on these boards, writing reviews, and watching football, when does Crothian actually have the time to PLAY D&D?

He seems to find the time! Not quite sure how he does it, he runs a great game to boot!

Argggggh. I need to move to Ohio. Did you have an active RPG gaming community, too?

We have three RPG shops, plus a couple of others in the burbs, plus local comic places that carry games. We have Origins. We have a huge gaming population, apparently. As my buddy who just moved to Kentucky put it, Columbus is gaming heaven.

I think Crothian is our modern-day Homer or Shakespeare. In 500 years they'll be debating whether he was really one person or many different people.

There is a place in Lexington that is exactly what you describe, except they focus on XBox, and they are in a small strip mall (near a FLGS). ...
This also gives the parents more control over their kids gaming, if the kids misbehave it's easier to deny them video games if they don't even have the machine physically at the house, and easier to budget their gaming time if they have to go to a specific place to game.

*reads between the lines*

It sounds like parents of latch-keys kids that cannot be physically home, so they provide supervision/entertainment as much as they can. I'm not passing judgement, just an observation. In my area, parents of latch-key kids don't really have the income to support such an endeaver (they do but most wouldn't want to spend it), so the community and sponsers put together after-school activities instead.

To be revelant to the question, reveal you may want to do your home-work on the economy of your local area and try to determine how much disposable income the average person has. This will help you determine your target market (kids, young adults, etc.).
