"Let her sleep for now. I'll start a fire, and cook us some breakfast. The smell of food should wake her up soon enough." Lorcan sets about making a fire, using any wood lying around the place to supplement the supplies on the mules.

(OoC: Another try to forecast the weather. Wilderness Lore +9. Have we switched to 3.5 rules? If so, I'm going to need to make a few changes to Lorcan's skill list.)

By Horros's estimation, the should be clear. You passed a small river yesterday two hours before you set camp.

Lorcan, however, sees the impeding sings of a storm brewing late in the evening, but there should be calm after the storm for the next day.

We changed skills and Damage Reduction to 3.5E, like I said in my first post on this thread (at least I think I did).

"Nah, we better not waste the water. A kick might be too much for her..."
When Lorcan interrupts Horros and Durban, "You are spoiling the fun. You don't always have to be so nice to her."

Lorcan grins at this.

"Oh, don't let me spoil your fun, carry on. Just don't blame me if you loose a limb waking her up. I've heard she can be quite grumpy first thing in the morning. Actually, it might be an idea to put her sword out of arms reach..."

"Nobody could be that bad, right?" with a questioning look, staring at Chandra. "Besides, she hasn't been violent or anything yet, so we shouldn't have too much to worry about."

"Yes they can. Actually, it's a policy of mine not to kick a sleeping woman. Saw it happen once, and she took it pretty personally. Next night she hamstrung the guy. Poor bastard didn't feel a thing until the morning when he finally woke up. Never knew which he regretted more kicking her or not dying from blood loss peacefully while asleep."

Horros looks at Chendra, "Still, I doubt she has it in her, but we can never be sure."

"Now that you made me remember that so vividly, for now I think it's better to let her sleep. Besides I can't think of a good way to wake her up right now."

Lorcan grins again as he settles down to cook breakfast.

"We'd better get moving before too long. There's a storm coming this evening, and I'd like to find a sheltered spot to set camp tonight."

Soon after Lorcan starts cooking, Chendra stirs up. "Uhmm... What's for breakfast?"
She looks like she definately had a better night's sleep than last night.
