Snakes on a gnome!

Possibly, I suppose, if there were a zoo that wanted 'em. It wouldn't surprise me if trying to find good homes for those snakes was pretty low on the authorities' list of things to do. And, I don't know what Australian law says on the issue, but, in many countries, the quarantine period for imported animals is months.

Yeah, Australia has had a couple of problems with wrongly introduced speices, so they don't like to take any chances. I can't say as I blame them, really. I have a feeling though, that whoever those posts were addressed to, and from whomever they came are going to be in deep kimshie!
