Sneak Attack vs. Uncanny Dodge?

I hope this isn't a stupid question.... :)

Can a rogue still get sneak attack damage against a character with Uncanny Dodge (in a situatuion where the target is technically flat-footed, but retains the DEX bonus to AC)?

Thanks!

Uncanny Dodge prevents the character from loosing their DEX bonus from both the flat-footed condition and getting struck by an invisible attacker.

If there is another reason the Barbarian (or another reason the target has uncanny dodge) is loosing their DEX... then SA is possible.

Note that a rogue can still flank the character with Uncanny Dodge, and a rogue of sufficient level can flank someone with Improved Uncanny Dodge.

Many DMs allow levels in other sneak attack classes (assassin, ninja, etc.) to count as rogue levels for that purpose.

Yup...Uncanny Dodge just lets you keep your Dex bonus while flat-footed; it doesn't make Sneak Attack impossible.

Flank the guy, go invisible...

can't happen unless you are firing into the grapple with a ranged attack.

An important issue, but only with a ranged sneak attack. You don't hit a random grappler with melee attacks.

Edit: GorTex beat me to it!
