Grease spell

A target loses their dex bonus while balancing or climbing unless they have 5 ranks in balance or a climb speed, respectively. The grease spell forces opponents to balance while moving. Ready a shot and shoot while the opponent is moving for any easy sneak attack.

Well under the combat modifiers (I think) that’s were it says that you have a 50% chance to hit ether opponent that’s grappling each other.

"Roll randomly to see which grappling combatant you strike. That defender loses any Dexterity bonus to AC."

Also you can make a similar situation happen with elusive target when casing over reach.

cover also only prevents aoo. Not so sure sneak attack is negated with cover.

I would be inclined to say no, because Sneak Attack damage is 'precision damage', meaning you're taking aim at specific parts of the target's body - kinda hard to do that by accident. (hitting those parts, that's what we call crits).

Check again - that footnote only applies to ranged attacks (as someone mentioned above)

Cheers
