An epic rogue can deal insane amounts of damage in a round. My Barbarian / Rogue can get off 9 attacks in a round, each for roughly 65 points of damage. Combined with the lingering damage (which adds another 35 damage to each of those strikes 1 round later), it is pretty easy for him to obliterate anything that can be sneak attacked.
