Sniping, Sneak Attacks and Such

Correct me if I am wrong, but someone using the Hide Skill or a spell effect like Invisibility (but not Greater Invisibility) only gets their first attack of the round as a sneak attack, right?

This, of course, assumes that the are not flanking or facing a truly flat-footed opponent.

Scenario:

Round 1 PC rogue hides successfully, enemy acts on his initiative
Round 2 PC full attacks, gains sneak attack on first attack only

Is this correct?

Thanks!

If you're talking about attacking a target who's already in combat, then yes. I believe the Hide skill describes something about the ability to take a shot and stay hidden, though.

Yeah, here we go. From the SRD.

Sniping: If you’ve already successfully hidden at least 10 feet from your target, you can make one ranged attack, then immediately hide again. You take a –20 penalty on your Hide check to conceal yourself after the shot.

Action: Usually none. Normally, you make a Hide check as part of movement, so it doesn’t take a separate action. However, hiding immediately after a ranged attack (see Sniping, above) is a move action.
