so called epic cantrips

We're looking at implementing a variation of epic spell casting into the campaign I'm in; essentially, if you cast an epic spell with a DC of 0 or less, then you can cast it on the fly so to speak, with no research time or gold cost. The idea is you're sacrificing the higher power of "normal" epic spells for utility and budget.

I remember seeing SOMEWHERE (sorry, can't remember where) that this has been used elsewhere (no, it's not my original idea sadly), in other people's campaigns - does anyone have any experience with this, and do they have a list of commonly used epic cantrips?

The first reference I saw to this idea was from Sepulchrave's campaign. I believe he has a thread up in the rogues' gallery where you can check out a bunch of the epic spells Nwm, the epic druid, made with a DC of 0.

If you haven't read his story hours, I really, really recommend them. Cheiromancer has a thread in the SH forum called Tales of Wyre: the Compiled Sepulchrave Story Hour Thread. Check it out if you have the time- but be warned, it's deep. It'll suck you in.
