So here's a weird short campaign I want to try

Hmm...the Slavers, Against the Giants, Temple of Elemental Evil, Queen of the Demonweb Pits, Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil modules could be pressed into service.

It also might be fun to run ALL of them through Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, with the module changing over time as repairs and improvements are made...

There's a version of Keep on the Borderlands for every edition of the game except maybe 2nd Ed. Same with Tomb of Horrors and Temple of Elemental Evil. Though converting monsters/traps/etc. on the fly between 1st and 2nd ed are a lot easier.

Some fun ideas - thanks!

I haven't actually read Return to Castle Ravenloft. How does it fit in with the timescale of the first?

If I could find an OD&D adventure which works as a prelude to I6 - adventurers uncover evidence of Strahd, perhaps? Some old school dungeon crawl.

And then something for 2E to run in between them. That's harder.

I could make adventures - but I want to use pre-published adventures! Minimum of work!

I find I put more work into running published adventures than I do custom ones...Besides, you could just write in one scene at the end. Is there an undead-themed OD&D adventure you could use and have the final "deliver the MacGuffin" scene be at the wedding?
