So, how would YOU make a ECL 100 character?

I´d try to make a Arcana Evolved character - Akashic25/Greenbond25/Magister25/Unfettered25. Nice synergy.

Kind of a rant:
But as I tried yesterday, I figured out D&D simply breaks down way before that - +100 enhancement bonus to Intelligence (or any ability score)? That´s madness, plain and simple... Even with the "averagized" base saving throws and BAB, the system will break down (bought just a Cloak of Resistance +30 instead of +40? No chance to save against my Finger of Death spell, my friend (why did you forget your Robe of Spell Resistance...).
Didn´t get that Gloves of Dexterity +50, the Ring of Protection +50, and the Amulet of Natural Armor +50, Bracers of Armor +50 and Shield +50? I will hit you with all my attacks - even with the off-hand attack, and I don´t even have two-weapon fighting - the remainder of my bonus will go to my Power Attack +50 for +100 extra points of damage. Not that it would hurt you much, since you at least got that Amulet of Health +100 - 5.000 extra hps aren´t that bad...)

hey guys what about a Half Elf

Monk ---- 60
Sorcerer--30
Dragon Disciple --- 10

If you go this way than no one can wear armor, and needs to attack with natural attacks. You would raise the monk the higest to get spell resistance and to get the extra speed bonus +90 i think. This would also let you fly at 120 ft which i think is pretty good. It would also allow you to have a breath weapon which is just AWESOME. You also get more natural armor +4 from the dragon and a bunch of stat boosts as well. Mix that in with the Monks ability to never age as well as the extra AC you get from having a high DEXTERITY AND WISDOM and you have 1 TOUGH dragon.

If anyone is interested in helping me make one, actually making one for me, than plz let me know. I think it would be a kool thing to try out.

HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!!!!!

I don't know what race I would be, but for class I would be mystic thurge :) .

Surely, you jest. Considering the epic Mystic Theurge's slow spellcasting and epic feat progressions, that would be the last character I'd play. A Wizard 50/Cleric 50 is actually a better build than a Wizard 5/Cleric 5/Mystic Theurge 90. The theurge casts his spells as a 55th level character in each class, and has 13 epic bonus feats to the first character's 20.

And, for all those folks who want to play a Commoner 100, the ELH says you can't have more than 20 levels in an NPC class. I can't imagine why you would want to go beyond 20 as a Commoner anyways ...

I'd make a Bard 100, max out Charisma and Diplomacy, and persuade all the powers in the campaign to give me the multiverse.

Realistically, I'd talk the GM into using HERO/Champions or something instead, :p but to stay in the spirit of this thread, if I created an ECL 100 D&D character, it might look something like this:

lich Cleric/prestige class(es)

If I had unlimited time and a compelling reason to play, I'd go with a wizard. Not a streight wizard, mind you, but something like wiz 5/cleric 5/geomancer 10/dweomerkeeper 10/incantatrix 10/archmage 5/ *pauses to do math*... arcane lord 15/mystic theruge 40.

So, that adds up to wizard CL 95 (or 99 with Practiced Spellcaster (that's what the feat's called, right?)) and cleric CL 45 (or 49), saves and BAB somewhere around +50 (without magical or ability mods), a lot of feats, etc, etc, etc. Use a lot of Epic spells, become a god, sit back and relax while simulacrums and avatars do my work for me.

Of course, in actually I'd be lazy and play a fighter 70-something with a bunch of templates. Paragon half-dragon or something.

But if we're really being realistic, I wouldn't be playing. Epic rules break down completely by 40th level. An ECL 100 campaign? Not happening in this edition.
