I bought a case of 12 + 2 boosters and got 5 of the six rare huges (3 in the case and a rare huge in each extra booster box!) I'm now only missing the storm giant.

Ah, must raid Zoroaster for trades next time we meet. :D

behir is one of the heaviest huges. the cardboard holds it in place completely and has one flap folded up on the inside, so you can feel the hole in the inner cardboard. bullete does this too.

i got my by pure weight comparing today.

At my FLGS, they are behind the counter, you can't compare. You get what you get.

So the employees only get to weight them for thier friends ?

I would recomend taking your GoL mini buying business to waldendooks or online in that situation. Keep the recipts and mail them [remove cred and account #s] to the FLGS's management.

That's sad but possibly true.

Back in my MK days (a very short reign - lucky me :) ) I noticed some packs in my (F?)LGS that have obviously been opened before and glued back together.
The (F?)LGS was also selling single miniatures for horrendous prices.

Advice: Try switching your FLGS once and see how it works out.

I would love too, but I live on Cape Cod, there are only 2 game stores that I know of, and one does not sell DnD mini's.

Although the heaviest miniature (the behir) is a rare huge, the second heaviest (the bulette) is an uncommon huge.

The weight trick really doesn't work that well with GoL - do you really want lots of Bulettes? :)

Cheers!
